Newborn Photography | Baby Scarlett

Scarlett came into the world in May. It's always such an honor to witness and capture parents falling in love with their new baby. Terrigal Wedding Photography | Hayley + Andrew

filed under Terrigal wedding photography Ok, this was the best party to date. For so many reasons, but mainly because everyone ended up in the pool. All it took was one bold bridesmaid, who jumped in with full abandon, forsaking hair, makeup and expensive white dress. After that it was either jump in or get thrown in. And the party went on in underwear and soaked dresses. And this was just the icing on the cake. The whole day was fabulous. Haley and Andrew were married at a beautiful home in Terrigal right on the water. It was an intimate celebration with dearest friends and family. The three of us stole away to the beach for an hour or so after the ceremony to get some shots. These two have surrounded themselves with an incredible bunch of easy-going, fun-loving people. And I was just honored to spend the day with this crew. Hiking the Royal National Park

Last weekend some girlfriends and I spent three days trekking through the Royal National Park, just south of Sydney. We were blessed with sunshine, fresh ocean breezes and heaps of fresh water pools to sooth our achy joints. Our adventure started at Bundeena and ended at the Otford Lookout, roughly 30k's south. I brought an old 35mm film camera along but unfortunately didn't bring enough rolls of film. So the last day I resorted to the iPhone because the scenery was sen-bloody-sational. The trail is so diverse: in one day you roam through palm tree jungles, lush green pastures, sandy beaches, and across beautiful rock formations. Heath picked us stinky girls up at the end and we all went swimming at Wattamolla. Juneau, Alaska | Summer 2014

I was in awe most of the time in Alaska. I've never been surrounded by so much wildlife all at once. I can now die a happy woman because I have come face to face with humpback whales. All in the same day we caught our salmon dinner, got up close and personal with multiple whales, watched a bald eagle swoop down and catch his dinner, said hello to sea lions as they swam by, caught 20+ massive crab and saw a black bear! At one point on the boat Heath just yelled "Wildlife!" in absolute disbelief. I can't wait to go back. 1 3 whale tale alaska 5 8 15 whale alaska 7 6 13 16 17 After an amazing hike we took a helicopter ride to see the Mendenhall Glacier. Had no idea it's 12 miles long! Hayes Family | Seattle, WA

The entire Hayes family was in Seattle for Katie's wedding so they took advantage of the opportunity and got family portraits. When they showed up at Volunteer Park on this glorious summer day there was a halo around the entire family! They were walking towards us through the golden sunlight, all in their white and gold hues... I was almost blinded by their beauty and brilliance! It was a perfect, sparkling, Seattle afternoon in the park with the fam. We had so much fun. Especially with these little gals! Thanks for having us along for your family portraits guys. Wedding photography Seattle | Katie and Eric

Wedding photography in Seattle is risky business. So many interesting shots can be created in the rain, but seldom does the bride or groom desire a wet wedding day. In Katie and Eric's case the risk was totally worth it! We were blessed with a very mild and DRY summer day. Katie and I went to school together and played basketball together. She is a gorgeous girl, inside and out. What a pleasure it was to document this lovely couple in one of my favorite places, Gas Works Park. Seattle Wedding photography suggestion: Take the bridal party to get ice cream. It was such a colorful day; with Katies bright red lips, the berry ice cream, the girl's mint dresses and the golden animal figurines that decorated the reception tables. By the way, please note that Katie had the most ginormous bridal bouquet we have ever seen. It was seriously three bouquets in one. I don't know how she lifted it. But it was beautiful. An all around fantastic day! Thanks to Katie and Eric for making us apart of their wedding day.
