Last weekend some girlfriends and I spent three days trekking through the Royal National Park, just south of Sydney. We were blessed with sunshine, fresh ocean breezes and heaps of fresh water pools to sooth our achy joints. Our adventure started at Bundeena and ended at the Otford Lookout, roughly 30k’s south.
I brought an old 35mm film camera along but unfortunately didn’t bring enough rolls of film. So the last day I resorted to the iPhone because the scenery was sen-bloody-sational. The trail is so diverse: in one day you roam through palm tree jungles, lush green pastures, sandy beaches, and across beautiful rock formations.
Heath picked us stinky girls up at the end and we all went swimming at Wattamolla. If you haven’t been to the park before, its a must!
And here’s a few iPhone shots.
The first is of our epic campsite on the second night. We had this fresh water pool all to ourselves!
Since I ran out of film, Heath brought a Nikon F6 and took some photos when he picked us up.
