We had the pleasure of meeting Andrew briefly years ago, so when his beautiful fiancé Janelle asked us to be her wedding photographers, we jumped at the opportunity. Photographing weddings in the Hunter Valley is always a joy, but it’s extra special and a lovely compliment when asked by people in the community you grew up in. Even though we’d never met Janelle until the day of her wedding, we got along very well on the day, and we’ve received lovely feedback from her about the wedding photographs below.
Janelle’s silk wedding dress was flown over from New York, and is quite simply incredible. Such a eye catching fabric with the way it moves – just so great to photograph.
For the photographers who read this, we shot this wedding on film and digital, and graded the colors (or ‘colours’ in ‘Australian’) of the digital to match the film photos. This way we get the convenience of digital, with the colour of film that is impossible to beat!
