Wedding photography in Seattle is risky business. So many interesting shots can be created in the rain, but seldom does the bride or groom desire a wet wedding day. In Katie and Eric’s case the risk was totally worth it! We were blessed with a very mild and DRY summer day.

Katie and I went to school together and played basketball together. She is a gorgeous girl, inside and out. What a pleasure it was to document this lovely couple in one of my favorite places, Gas Works Park. Seattle Wedding photography suggestion: Take the bridal party to get ice cream. It was such a colorful day; with Katies bright red lips, the berry ice cream, the girl’s mint dresses and the golden animal figurines that decorated the reception tables. By the way, please note that Katie had the most ginormous bridal bouquet we have ever seen. It was seriously three bouquets in one. I don’t know how she lifted it. But it was beautiful. An all around fantastic day! Thanks to Katie and Eric for making us apart of their wedding day.
