Old McDonald had a farm. It was the perfect spot for summertime nuptials. We very much enjoyed spending the day on the family farm in Tennessee with these two and their circle. The ceremony took place in front of the house under the shade of the giant oak (or maple or sycamore!) tree. The minister had known them for years and was teary-eyed as he solemnized their union. There is a distinct possibility that onlooking cows shed a tear or two. There was so much love on the McDonald farm that day. Also so much dancing! The band from Nashville, Scat Singers (website here), was an all time favourite. We’ve never seen a bride dominate the floor with such enthusiasm! The mother/daughter dance was the highlight of the day for us. They are completely free spirited. We’d do it all over again if we could. Thanks for having us guys!
